Hello!

We are proud to announce the 33rd Annual Gold Rush Festival.  It is with great pride we make sure that you have a fun filled, family friendly experience right here in the county seat of McCormick county in downtown McCormick at the intersection of Highways 378 and 28. 

The festival this year will start off with a Friday September 17, 2010 night party with a live band.  Just down the street the McCormick children's Home will have there Anything But to start off their BBQ Cookoff Competition.

Saturday September 18, 2010 nothing starts off a festival like a parade.  10 am the parade lines Main street.  The Car Show, Festival, kids rides and BBQ Cookoff will be rolling full steam right after the parade.  Take the free shuttle to the Dorn House, the Mill (the cook-off is right beside it), the Heritage Gold Mine or if your prefer walk to these sites as they are just a few blocks apart. 

We look forward to seeing you!  Vendors are encouraged to get there applications completed soon space is limited.

Gold Rush Beauty Pageant- August 7, 2010 at 6pm at the Savannah Lakes Activity Center.  Applications are here on this site and we encourage you to enter and become part of the tradition.  Winners are encouraged to participate in the Gold Rush parade.
